My headlight switch needs replacing. I have a mechanical breakdown warranty that covers it for a $ 250 deductible.

That deductible will cover all repairs done on that ticket. What other know issue can I have then check for?

2019 BMW 540 IX

If it is in the beginning stages of fracturing, you won't feel anything. When I was under warranty, I brought it to the dealer for an oil change or something and they called me and told me the flex disk showed signs of fracturing. This is a VERY common problem with BMW's over the years, so the dealer definitely looks for it for warranty work. Even my 2003 E39 suffers from poorly engineered flex disks.

If it is really bad, you would feel a vibration from the driveshaft on acceleration. If you aren't feeling anything but it is fractured, it definitely preventative maintenance because it will get worse over time.
