Probably why I am happily married with kidos and far away from modern American women (some of whom I hear are no longer actual women?).

It was just a funny follow up comment to previous one. Chill out.
Been happily married to the same American woman for 23 years. I get along with everyone regardless of nationality.

This is a great thread and very helpful. I’m new here and looking to purchase an M550i. Originally I was looking to replace my Audi A6 Avant with another wagon….but stumbled across the greatness that is the M550i! Looking to get into a preowned 2021 but have seen a few excellently specked 2019s like the one previously linked at Sewell and the one linked below. Sort of concerned about the high miles though but the price is right. Thoughts?

That's a nicely equipped car and lovely color. The miles are high, but on the flip side it was probably driven highway and a lot of maintenance items were likely taken care of. Check out Route 66 extended warranty on this forum. Many of us have purchased it for 7yr/120k miles for around $3k. That should give you some peace of mind for a while.

Do read about the differences between the N63TU2 vs N63TU3 (MY20+) engine updates.. lots of info on this forum.

Thanks for the feedback….very helpful. While I’d prefer to get a MY20+ for the stock 529hp, I’m thinking a well optioned pre-MY20 car plus an ECU tune will fit the bill. Heck, even stock at 456, that’s more hp than I’ve ever had in a vehicle.

2023 MY M550i is a 3.6 sec 0-60 time and an 11.XX-second rocket. For a 4-door weighty sedan, that’s freakin fast…..and you get the creature comforts for a daily driver.

By comparison, I owned a 2012 Shelby GT500 with over 700+ hp since new. It was fast, loud and in your face……fun ride….but I’m amazed the M550i is faster than the Shelby.

Indeed, that's a good way to think about it, especially with the cost savings on 2019s right now VS later year models. The TU2 seems to be very reliable too based on the forums at least (no major issues reported).

Hmm, that’s not quite true… Superb is a less a pensive Audi A6 if anything… The less expensive Passat is Octavia...

Do your homework mate…the Skoda Superb is built on the VW Passat platform & costs less, the Octavia is built on the Golf platform
