G30 540I Front Center Jack Point

I have been doing some research (googling, looking at manuals, talking to mechanics, etc) into this and has not gotten a clear answer from any source. Does anyone know where the jack point is (1 or 2 in the picture)? Thanks.

I would say 2, but I'm uncertain.

Edit: you want to use a cross member of the subframe. Aligning both pictures/resources, nr 2 seems most flush with that crossmember.

I agree, No 2 looks to be more centralized. I believe that is where I place my jack when lifting the front end.

It's 2. The subframe sits right above that spot once you remove the stiffening plate.

Thank u!! Been struggling to find the propper spot for this. Now i have my stand at a decent height. Was lifting the two back wheel jack spot to put my stands in the front section. Didnt feel secure or safe that way.
