Tried it on my way home from work today and thought it was a fairly good workaround to my problem. I hope it is comfort mode under a sport individual guise.

From memory, I believe I coded it with Bimmercode, but it also could be an ID6 option. Just to be clear, I can put the digital speed in the lower portion of the cluster where the odometer is by hitting the stalk button. I choose to not use it. Too many other places with digital speed already.

I'm sure you have to code the digital speed. Also noticed many of your peers over in the US have high-end G30/G31 models, which probably come with more factory toys to begin with such as digital speed etc. I can only find one digital speed on my G31 and that's the one that comes with sports mode.

I have coded speed to appear in two places using Bimmercode ( simple).

It will appear in the left hand dial as a small number just above the speedo centre and also in the info bar as in the OP.

The latter can be toggled on and off with the indicator stalk through the other options.

The speed indicator in the dial is inn or off only by bimmercode

Thank you for confirming Joe-BMW33's post. I've not tried any bimmercoding. Does the coding affect any potential updating of the car by BMW?

I have also looked into enabling Carplay which also requires coding and the recommendation is not to let BMW update the car once it has been coded - sorry for the digression...

No effect at all. Just redo it if it gets lost in the update.
Can't speak to car play. Android exclusive here
