So I’ve decided to hang on to my ‘19 M550 instead of buying an i4 M50. She’s been a trouble-free car for 4 years and only has 18,000 miles on her. My factory warranty expires the middle of next month. I believe I can still purchase an extended warranty before mine expires, but I wanted to see if anyone else has done that and see what my options are. I know I will probably have to do this at the dealership, but I was hoping someone could share their thoughts. Thanks.

Thanks. I did see this earlier today. I’m primarily interested in the factory warranty, but I can’t find any information about it. I’m going to the dealership tomorrow anyway and will inquire with them. My primary reason for going with the factory warranty is that I can just go to any dealership with hopefully less resistance not to mention the complementary loaner car. Please post here with the rates that your dealer offers. I am interested, although I am about 10 months away from actually purchasing one.

That is a lovely looking car BTW! Good decision on hanging on to it.

Will do. I know that you’re eligible to purchase one up to the day your factory warranty expires which means exactly one month for me.

I edited the link to remove the highlights so that you don't go blind seeing red all over the page...feel free to click on it again
