I am not as ambitious as my friend Joe so I went to the hand car wash , dryed if off myself and did the windows/Interior. Looks marvelous. I then took my dog to the park in his new favorite car.............. twice

Drove two hours through North Mississippi. Then washed the bugs and pollen off and got it looking fresh for the week ahead.

I forget how fast that car is and how easy it is to drive fast. Then I get it on an open road and get impressed all over again. 80 mph in that car feels like cruising at 60. It doesn't take much to look down and realize your knocking on 100.

It's unreal how natural that kind of speed feels in these cars. Like it's nothing. 80-95 mph just feels like run of the mill cruising speed.

I let my 19 year old daughter drive this weekend back to UNH from lunch Portsmouth. She's doing a 100 on Route 4 like it's nothing. I as a passenger don't even blink an eye as well.

She then goes on to tell me she likes this car so much better than the Maserati. Me too.

She has good taste like the old man!!!!! I am only 1250 miles in but I am shocked how smooth the ride is on the highway in comfort mode. Then you can change things up in sport mode and turn it into a road beast

I few more miles Mike and you will be able to step on it and really unleash it. These cars pull like a freight train.

Yes. Excluding 1ft rollout, like the numbers posted by car and driver and motor trend, 3.33 seconds. I'm very stoked. Im used to the unattainable bullshit numbers posted by some other automotive manufactures….this is on the street without drag radials or a prepped track. I know I have a good one out of the box

BMW is one of the few manufacturers that is actually slightly conservative on their published numbers. Never any bullshit. I admire that.

I've seen some reviews that have said the same about the 540 numbers, so it definitely seems like that's a consistent trend with the brand.

The crazy thing is that I had to lift at the end of the quarter-mile. I was afraid of running out of room. My mile per hour is only 115, it should be around 120. This is the first time I did an 11 second quarter mile in a car while having massage seats going…mind blowing

Not necessarily to the G30 directly… but I replaced my garage overhead lights with 1100 lumen 5000k lights. I can finally see the color of my DGM 540! So much more satisfying.

The lights I had were 800 lumen and only one was 5000k (above my wife's GX 460). The other (above the g30) was only 2700k. The yellowish light did the car no favors.

I'm OCD as hell about some things. Most probably wouldn't think about it. But if you want to enjoy the full effect of your beautiful g30 paint color, I highly recommend lighting your garage accordingly!

I hear you, I want as much clean light as possible for when I'm detailing or working on the car, such as installing the spoiler last weekend.

I have four set of the old school fluorescent tubes that do "ok". I also had a traditional bulb socket on the ceiling that I just used for one of these. Makes a big difference.

That's awesome. I added it to the cart for a later date. I couldn't see where it specified if it is 5000k or better, but I assume you've done your homework.

I used two 5000k LED flood lights for now. They're actually working very well for the space.

Can't say I did a ton of homework. It was like $23 bucks One-Day Prime and I figured I'd just free return it if it was junk. Does the job, but it won't light up Fenway

Actually, BMW does lie but in the other direction. It sandbags its HP numbers. Most cars lose about 15% of their HP between the crank and the wheels. BMWs usually test at about their rated numbers when dynoed at the wheels.
