Front fuse box in G31 530e

Hi,

I just messed up my front cigar lighter fuse. I checked the other cigar lighters (on the back seat and trunk) and they are working. I also checked fuse 273 and it's working properly.

I'm now trying to find the front fuse box for fuse 50, but it's nowhere to be found. Do I need to remove the passenger compartment?

Did you check the owners manual to see if it’s gives detail as to its location and how to access it? BTW, there’s an owners manual built into iDrive…it is real easy to use and has multiple ways to search & includes pics and videos for various topics.

Thank you!

I did check but wasn't able to understand it until I took some pictures from under the passenger compartment.

Now I found it. Leaving a pic here for future reference!

Ah...looks like two twist locks holds a panel in place...you undo the locks and the panel drops down where you can then access the fuses?

That's how it is on my F15 X5...except the panel is held in place by 3 twist locks.
