Glad it's not just me. Feels like BMS could have spent a bit more time in R&D getting the fit right.

They should make full housing with direct air feed of cold air. With proper protection from engine bay heat.

Wait till it get really work your car will loose some bhp...

The better stable cold air the better throttle response is and car drove a lottt better.

I got an AEM from 4wheelonline. It's a pretty good intake, and I like the fact that it has a dry filter. I can't tell any difference in power but there's a noticeable improvement in throttle response.

Yeah I’ll get one when the exchange rate for us gets better.
Gonna cost me nearly $700 aud at the moment

The only thing I'm not particularly happy with is the fit of the mounting bracket. No matter how much I adjust the various parts, I can't get the bracket to sit flush so it doesn't fill me with confidence. I'll have to keep an eye on it to make sure nothing is working loose.
Got any pics?
The BMS site shows it sitting perfectly.
Also, how do you like it?
Any negatives?

Yep. I'm sure the manufacturer's website says it's great

It's not terrible, but I expected that something supposedly specifically designed for this model would fit better.

I've only done a few hundred miles since I fitted it and haven't noticed any negative effects. This is the only pic I have of it fitted:

I don't think it looks out of place in the engine bay

My main question is how it sits in the bay?
Does it secure to anything using the bracket in the pic?
Or
Does it just sit there loose?
