540 and K&N question
I am not overly excited for any of the current Coi options and while some other companies add options to the market, I was wondering if anyone has dropped in a K&N filter and if it was a worth while change. I did try to use the search function but somehow did not come up with any threads.

I dropped in a BMC intake (FB929/20) and honestly you can't feel the gains. However, if you are running a high octane tune and pushing it, I think it would make an appreciable (if not noticeable) difference.

I always use K&N rechargeable filters when not using some sort of CAI. I don't know if helps with performance, but I like the fact that I can just clean it and recharge it instead of having to replace with disposable ones.
