Thinking about going satin black on the wheels. What do you guys think? Should I keep them Bright Silver or go with the Satin Black? I can't seem to decide.

I don't think you can go wrong. I lean towards having some color contrasts, so with black grill and trim I would probably keep the silver wheels. But that's all personal preference, both look good! Good looking car.

Black wheels seem, to me, to be so overdone. The silver looks good on your car. Gunmetal would, IMHO, also look good.

I think black wheels look great on many cars, so I don't mean to disparage any with them. That said, I agree with you on it being a bit over done. It was once a sporty look that you didn't see everywhere or on every car. Like anything cool, it seems to have been cling onto by every car manufacturer. Now every car has a blackout package or something similar. Half the soccer moms in town have moved on from Chevy Tahoes to Lexus GX and LX trucks with black wheels. My wife ordered hers with regular wheels and gets more comments because now that's the outlier. Kinda funny. That's how trends work though.

Agree on gunmetal. I had gunmetal rims on my Z71 Tahoe and really thought they looked good. That would look awesome on a white, black, or graphite car with the shadow line package and grill.

Thank you. I wasn't sure I could make them work when I first got them. The offsets are too aggressive for the 540. They were also black/machined. Had them powder coated and went with 275/30 on all 4 corners. Added the rear arch extensions to help with the slight poke. I am really happy with the final result.

What type of wheels are these? i've just got satin black variant xenon wheels installed but they don't stand out as much..i would stick with either gun metal or silver..
