i know that the e63 is faster to 60 but i have heard from two people that the 63 is slower on the quarter mile. is this true?

i think it's about the same on the 1/4....

but the E63 is quicker by a mile or two mph.......

Traction is the major issue with the E55. An E55 with drag radials will kill an E63 with drag radials any day of the week.

One other thing
The problem with the e55 at least in the US is the resale BLOWS. This is even worse now with the introduction of the 63.

Very few people sell cars like this once they buy them. And from those
that do, money isn't a problem.

totally unture. I lost 2 deal. because people got nothing for trade on e55 amgs. They ended up keeping the car because the hit was too much to take. The resale BLOWS regardless if few people sell these bricks.

not back in europe.. we only got around 10 in the whole country

so no problem with resale

you have a cls so in the us thats better resale but MB cant give E classes away here. They lease for 100 less per month than a 5 series and people STILL DONT buy them. Your cls is a lot different resale wise than an e55. Plus in the US everyone has to have something new regardless if the car is better or not. I would take a 55 just because of tuning potential against the 63.
