520D xDrive M Sport in Sophisto grey with Black alloys and black interior..... with quite a few options (comfort pack, M Sport plus pack, CarPlay, enhanced BT etc.).

My G31 is currently awaiting final checks, should be in it on Friday!

Went 520D M-Sport Touring, Saphirre Black, 19” alloys, black interior. Added CarPlay, adapative suspension, m-sport plus pack, lumbar.

It’s my first 5 series, coming from a 10yr old golf. CANNOT WAIT!

Congrats mate you will love it.

I loved my GOLF you cant beat a golf its in its own class.

But once you had a BMW 5 Series its a totally different ball game.

Had the 520D for my F10 went for 530i for the G30 and i love it

The F10 was excellent didnt know how they could make it better and they did.

I got 24% off in end of August but not taken the delivery yet. Car is scheduled to come w/c 27th Nov.

I used both CarWow and Autoebid. CarWow came out on top if that's of any use. Good luck.

I've asked the genius for an production status code, he said that they did not have access to it. I even gave them some examples.

But you need the code that the dealer gave you when he put your order in.

The order number? from there they can then tell you what stage your car is at?

They don't give out status codes anymore. However they will just tell you broadly what stage the car is based on order number. It's not as detailed as it used to be.

I would be doing my Nut in. They need a better system to see the car go from start to end. i think Mercedes

YAK has that in place

I know. It changed halfway through when I was tracking my order. Did my head in and made me really frustrated

They really need to move forwards not backwards. I'd even pay to have video feeds of specific parts of the build of my car.

Really useful thread RamboUK I am also 'Port of Entry'! I must have checked this thread and BMW Genius every day for the past 3 months! To say I am excited does not even come close!

SNAP - port of entry, 2 weeks to do the 2.5 hr journey to Milton Keynes and PDI it though! I've been given a delivery date of the 28th! This has been the longest 5 months of my life!

Yeah i know the feeling i was messaging the genius up to three times a day where most of them knew my by the end of my journey.

Please note if the dealer is in the south it will go to Southampton for us northerners its Immingham

port of Entry is good but should be with you sooner than 28th unless your having something fitted at the dealer?

%months is a long wait the three months nearly was hard enough for me

Ordered in October! Dealer is expecting it with them next Friday, date keeps moving though, with any luck they'll get a move on and get it in and to me quicker.

Nothing being added by the dealer so it should be a quick turnaround... and they are probably fed up with me harassing them!
