2020 530i with square wheels looking to switch to staggered

Its an M sport but didnt realize it came from the factory with 245/40/19 all around which Im guessing they do just because its a 530i? My question is if I wanted to switch to a staggered 20" setup would I run into any issues? Looking at 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear Niche M190's. Would my tire sizes be 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 like a normal staggered setup or would they be 245/35/20 and 275/35/20 since the factory tires have all the same sidewall height? I dont know if the computer is set to having all the same sidewall and would freak out if I changed the total height of just the rear tires.

Front and rear gotta be almost same height, so 245/35+275/30 is what you want.

245/35+285/30 or 255/35+295/30 is good too because 245+275 will look kinda stretched if you use 9"+10.5" rims.

Thats what I was thinking but wasnt sure about switching from square to staggered if I can go from 40/19 in the rear to a 30/20, seems like that would be too short? 40/19 to a 35/20 in the front would be the same height so Im guessing no issues. Just curious about the rear.

The second number of the tire size is actually a percentage, so 30% sidewall for 275 makes the tire height only 1% shorter than 35% sidewall for 245.. if you used a 275/35/20, it would actually be much taller than 245/35/20

Ended up going with the Niche M190 20x9 20x10.5 with 255/35/20 and 285/30/20
