Actually, BMW does lie but in the other direction. It sandbags its HP numbers. Most cars lose about 15% of their HP between the crank and the wheels. BMWs usually test at about their rated numbers when dynoed at the wheels.

I think we are saying the same thing. They don't overstate either metric.

Finally picked her up after getting ceramic coated and PPF.

Can't really tell it's been ceramic coated. Waiting for the sun to hit the paint

Very nice. I got 25% ceramic tint a few weeks ago and have been pretty happy with it.

Installed the sequential mirror repeaters. This video was more helpful to me than the ones that say to remove the mirror. I tried removing the mirror, but gave up when it just didn't want to budge. I did have to use a couple of screwdrivers to gently pry the clips apart; one small blade on the bottom clip and an average size one on the top. I wedged the bottom clip open with the small screwdriver and pried-up on the top clip with the other. The driver's side took me about a half hour and the passenger side about 10 minutes. I am pleased with the outcome.

bTW my plates are finally on my car, cleaned up and testing out the engine now that is broke in. In Sport plus mode the transmission is surprisingly hyper, maybe I just need more time to play w it.

Sport Plus takes some skill, but it is definitely not for driving around town in traffic. It is jumpy and acceleration is designed for a continuous throttle of sorts. So accelerating and decelerating in short spurts is not for Sport Plus. because of how the transmission is programmed in Sport Plus. You should configure a Sport Individual entry and turn down the transmission to Sport only. May want to soften the suspension too. Then you have a spirited mode that you can drive around congested areas with rough roads.
