I like it - have been thinking about doing the same with mine. Maybe a little wider around the edges, but it gets it closer to the LCI look

No i didnt, however the lines in the taillight guided me.

I didn't think about using plastidip. I was going to use a 2" gloss vinyl tape.

I feel like vinyl tape is harder to work with. But if you can do it knifeless tape would come in handy.

DB_BMW did a nice job with that. How many layers dis you do?

3 layers, i had to do the layers pretty quick because if you wait too long you will peel it while removing tape. Best thing about this is it is very easy to remove and go back to stock. It looks really good in person.
