Very nice silver indeed. Almost looks like mercury. If it is supposed to be German for Rhodonite, it is nicer than the mineral, which is reddish or pinkish.

Took my a while to notice thay it was the M550d and not a M550i.

Great interior, but the Tartufo looks more red here than in other pics I've seen, too bad I've never seen it in real life.

Love it but the question is how "beige" will it look in real world. I see a hint of pinkish moonstone or something in it as well?

For Individual colour I don't think it separates its self enough. US$166k for car is a stretch for me. Looks great, lots inside but for that money there are way to many other options.... you could get change out on an i8!

I wish he would have taken the car out into the sun. I would love to have a silver that's not got other colors mixed in. Silverstone looks baby blue in the sun...as opposed to Titanium silver that looks....well....silver.

Ordinarily I hate silver and most all shades of gray! It may just be the photography, but this looks really beautiful!

How can this model be $166k? That is a lot more than a well optioned M5 or M6

Depends on the country's tax system. In Germany cars(and everything else) have a 19% sales tax/VAT. Some EU countries even charge two, three four times as much tax. Netherlands comes to mind.

Check out the prices in my thread here...

OP.... I LOVE this silver. Really looks good. And for just 2.7K it seems like a deal compared to that "liquid silber" Individual color from last year(~20K ?).

That's what I was thinking. I know in Australia the prices for cars are very very high, but they usually come close to fully loaded as standard as well.

Dont take the price too seriously. It is mostly due to tax, not so much with the spec.

Tax! NL is actually cheap compared to other EU countries.

My DK 530D m-sport is abt. USD 200k incl. DK taxes. A DK M5 likely will take you down by abt. USD 400k.

But hey, we are the happiest people in the world..
