I can certainly chime in...

The short of it is we have had some supplier issues with the 'X' part of this pipe specifically. Without going into a great deal of detail that most will not care about anyway our original supplier is no more and our in-house built and supplied jig/fixture went with them. We are in the process of building a new fixture so we can do it wholly in-house (wasn't an option when this was originally designed/built) but the lasercutting vendor for the jig fixtures has been backed up as well. =/ Hoping this will be resolved soon but history up to this point has not been kind. One of those products that can't seem to catch a break seemingly.

For those that don't wish to wait any longer you are certainly free to cancel your order. Just call 1-800-341-5480 with your order # and that can be taken care of pretty quickly.

End of April date noted on the website is still the best date I have. Last I saw we were still waiting on the laser cut fixture pieces so that could be put together.

I wouldn't hold your breath but for now I'm keeping my fingers crossed until a better option (aka one that is available now) for the similar price comes up.

I touched base with my installer on Wednesday for an update. He spoke to Dinan and what I heard was while they could not confirm the current April 29th ship date, they are optimistic it will hold. Apparently they have all but one of the needed parts and once that part comes in they'll begin fabricating.

Got pushed from that last reported end of April date unfortunately... again. =/

I'm optimistic it won't be as far out as the currently listed end of June date but that may just be me thinking positive.

FML. Optimistic huh. Is that because we're finally hitting the 1 year mark?

I feel like Mr Dinan himself would have handled this much differently. Shame. And please refrain from the classic "you can always cancel your order". Trust me. I would have back in July if I would have known I would be in the same boat a year from then. But Dinan just kept dragging us alone with the multitude of 60/90 day extensions. But glad to hear they're "optimistic" now.

Vent over. Time to mow the lawn. Xoox

Ya. Worst part is the true reason wasn't revealed until about 3 months ago and have been less than forth coming with the info since. I'm sure if I called them they would tell me something but certainly not forthcoming on their own. Not the DINAN of old by any means.

have ya'll been able to start production yet or are you still trying to procure the equipment needed to produce these?

New fixtures are complete as are all the backend routings and paperwork mess. Currently are in transit up north to the main exhaust facility (Bowling Green, KY) where all the Holley groups pipe benders and what not are located to get the production runs made. Once it lands an actual work order will be put into the system but I have no visibility on where in the queue it will ultimately be placed. I would imagine close to the top as its easily our longest backordered item at this point.

All the raw material is waiting so there should be no delays on that front.

Exiting to hear! Am looking forward to finally getting it installed now that i've decided to just keep here at Lease end. Have loved the res delete thus far but there is just something missing still.
