LCI steering wheel retrofit
I have a 2019 G31 540d version, which means I already have ID7 and Live Cockpit (without sensors). Here comes my question: Is it possible to swap the steering wheel from the G30 LCI (the one with LEDs from Driving Assistance) to my car?
On the first picture is the steering wheel from the LCI model that I want, and on the second picture is my current steering wheel. The second issue is whether it's possible to code the visualization similar to "Tesla" on my Live Cockpit, like the one in the G30 LCI. |

I can't help on the steering wheel question but unfortunately, the answer to your second question is no. "Tesla mode" is exclusive to LCI models as it uses different hardware than the pre-LCI. There is actually coding available for it, but pre-LCI models just display a blank screen when activated.
