Lug Bolts vs Lug Nuts/Studs

I have finally decided on the aftermarket wheels (Beyern) and would like your experience/thoughts on installing a set of lug studs with tuner lugs nuts to replace the BMW style lug bolts. I am considering the change over because I will be using spacers on both the front and rear due to the difference in offsets and rim widths. I also find that is easier to remove and install wheels with studs and I will be rotating the new NON run flat tires every 5K.

Your thoughts?!?.

Thanks for your input!!

Thought there doesn't seem to be much interest in the bolt vs stud issue.

After talking to two wheel suppliers I am purchasing longer BOLTS for the spacers.

Thanks

Good choice I would have gone with the longer bolts too. The other option just adds extra weight and extra parts.

Terps...hate to disagree with a sinor member but from what I read on other race related BMW forums and manufactures' sites the stud/nut combo usually will save you a pound or more per wheel.
If you end up doing what I did with lighter rims (2 lbs each less) and NON run flat tires (2 lbs each less) you end up removing a lot of the unsprung weight.
I liked the idea of the studs because I think it is easier to install the wheel onto stud and then add the nut rather then hold the wheel in place while trying to line up the bolt with a hole you can't see. Then when you add in the spacers ...well you get the picture.
The other thing is wheel locks. It is hard to find long lug bolt locks, where as everyone makes locks for the studs.
