Driver side small storage compartment

Hey guys , i opened the small storage compartment last night to take my wallet out then pushed it up to close didnt really notice if it closed or not so i locked the car & went away.

woke up this morning to go to work and i noticed the lid was open tried to close it but it wouldnt close i think the spring or something is loose , so i visited the dealer and he told me they dont have this in stock so i would have to wait for another 10 days till the part arrives, any solution to this?

Yea...wait 10 days and have the dealer replace it.

Didn't even know this existed... Funny you mention, I have had issues with both the sunglasses compartment and the glove compartment not opening properly...

Sucks man. No issues with mine. That's where I keep my 380. Perfect fit.

Tape it with black electrical tape while you wait for the part to come in.

It sucks especially when your driving and you hear all that plastic rattle , have you done anything to fix those?

I have this issue as well.I have to push the release button a few times until the glass holder opens.
