It won't work as a straight swap.

You would need to relocate the hangers, and also do some custom exhaust work for it to be able to align up with the rear bumper properly
Which hangers would need to be relocated? Any help or advice would be awesome since I just dropped the car off to get the M5C exhaust installed tomorrow morning...
I can't remember the exact detail. I tried to get that setup done a little less then a year ago.

I'm sure if you dropped your car off at a shop for installation, they will have there fab guy do some custom work to have it sorted out

No problem. Sorry I can't be more help to you.
Let me know if you run into any issues. Maybe I can contact my shop that was going to install them and ask for more details

I mounted the exhaust support bracket and the M5C diffuser and nozzle tray lined up without issue. Just needed an extra set of those push clip things for the center of the nozzle tray.

My local exhaust shop mounted the M5C exhaust today without any issues or relocation(s). Sound is deeper and better in Sport+, but it's still too quiet for my taste. I wouldn't mind throwing my catless DP setup on it now just to see what it'll sound like then

All in all, I love the aggressive look of the diffuser and quad tip setup, I just wish I ordered the M-Competition nozzle tray/center piece instead of the stock piece.

I did a research on this a while ago. G30 and F90 has the same rear bumper so the diffuser fits. The problem is that it won't fit with the stock exhaust on G30, simply because the exhaust cutouts on the F90 diffuser is closer to the middle. If you're going to get a custom exhaust anyway then it's not a problem. Just make sure you get an exhaust with F90 fitment.

Edit: Forgot to mention that you'll also need the support bracket for the F90 diffuser, because of the different alignment of the cutouts. Otherwise, the G30 support bracket will be visible when mounting the F90 diffuser, which looks really bad. It has already been discussed on page 2 of this topic.

Does anyone know anything about this m5 trunk sensor bracket that is needed if you have an m5 diffuser on your m550i? I have the trunk kick feature on my m550i and I'll be doing the same m5 comp full exhaust as CMCx2011 did real soon. I don't want to lose the trunk kick feature.

Garage List
This post is exactly what I was looking for. I recently got rear ended, and so my insurance company is replacing my rear bumper, rear diffuser, tail light, and my exhaust because it crushed one of my tips, and the exhaust tips are all part of the muffler.

I was initially thinking I would get the end five bumper diffuser, and a new exhaust for an F 90 and bolt it all up but for meeting this sounds like that won’t work???

It sounds like there are other parts under the bumper that are not compatible between the M 550 and the F90??

Maybe I’ll just get a carbon diffuser meant for the end 550 and then an exhaust system designed for the end 550 and I’ll bolt up clean….
