Help with coding

Hi all,

New to this trying everything to code my new msport brakes but it just wont work, it doesnt seem to like the SPBR option when i try ti add it.

Is it possible to remote code over remote connection? if so would anyone be willing to do this for a good fee of course?

if not anybody live in Hull UK that could do this for me?

Many Thanks

Update but still require assistance please

I have been able to FDL code the car to enable video in motion and i have removed the speed restriction as well. So this is working having spent many many hours watching videos and reading forums, which have all been very very helpful.

My issue now is that i still cant enable the SPBR i basically get this error message

No FP could be generated from FA "". [C002]
no FA2FP known for Entwicklungsbaureihe F032 [858]

Cannot continue past the error

this then means that i cant see this bit below

Check the vehicle profile to locate the "" aftermarket retrofit "and check" SPBR_18_ZOLL_SPORTBRAKE "has been added to the file
=> Write (write) FA to your car. No confirmation window will appear after saving the FA to the car

i dont have the aftermarket retrofit option.

I have spent a good 6 hours today with mulitple laptops and trying different things but i just cant get it to work.

I have followed these steps below as per another post i found

onnect
=> Expert Mode
=> Coding
=> Read FA
=> Save FA
=> Editiors and viewers
=> FA-editor
=> Go to HO-Wort and right click on "Edit," then type "SPBR" under the HO-Wort file
=> Select the FA, right click "Enable FA" and "Calculate FA" to verify that no errors are found after adding the SPBR.
=> Check the vehicle profile to locate the "" aftermarket retrofit "and check" SPBR_18_ZOLL_SPORTBRAKE "has been added to the file
=> Write (write) FA to your car. No confirmation window will appear after saving the FA to the car
=> Expert Mode
=> Coding
=> Read (read) the FA. You are able to see SPBR be added to the HO-Wort folder on your car.
=> Read SVT, and locate the "DSC" (File Folder SVT / ECU / DSC), then right-click the "DSC" folder and select "Code". Consolidation should start immediately.
=> Allow the coding is over, and repeat step 1 to save a copy of the new FA.
=> Disconnect the car's computer. The M-Performance brake is now activated and enjoy the authentic experience of M Performance brake.

Please please can anyone help, i would be willing to pay for any assistance or if somebody can do this over a remote session.

many Thanks

Rich

Positive Update

Morning All,

So after another sleepless night and more searching around i managed to find 3 different options for coding in the msport brake.

Basically i was using SPBR this didnt work

i also tried SBPR that didnt work pressumed that was just a mis type

i then tried SPOB

finally i tried SBRE and heyo presto error message disappeared and all the rest of the step by step instructions work perfectly.

I can take from this that different cars are coded with different code names.

Pleased to say its been a long weekend of banging my head against a brick wall and throwing laptops out the window but i got there.

thanks to everyone on every single forum i have read that got me sorted.

I feel like a bit more than basic now with everything i have learn't so i fancy doing some more changes.

Thanks

Tools like Launcher Pro FP Viewer or Bimmer Utility FA Editor will give you all the possible codes.
