Im at 165 and thats losing 10 because of covid (gym closed) so I just had to cut back to bodyweight stuff here. I was hoping to hit 180 but it was always a struggle, Im just not the right body type as food just goes through me/and or I just cant eat enough (i know, problems right)

5' 9", I was 240 two years ago. I mix between calisthenics and weights. I prefer weights, but the calisthenics are fun and I feel deliver a better workout, but to be fair; I don't do crazy weight compound lifts, due to health issues.

What kind of body weight stuff? Have you tried rings or parallettes?

Dude. 129lbs at 5'9 is ridiculously light. Almost unhealthy body weight.

145lbs @5'9 though can be either gymnast body or anorexic looking lol.

Yeah im 3 inches taller and 100lbs heavier. Would love to be 250ish but im getting old and carrying extra weight in form of muscle hard on me it seems. I feel every lb.

Agree completely. I had been pretty fat. I got really lean trying to lose all the body fat. Even at 8.3% BF I still had some belly cub that I couldn't figure out why was still there. I cardio'd the shit out of myself trying to lose it and lost some muscle in the process. Frustrating process trying to get where I want to be. My though process was, get rid of all the fat, then build the muscle. I realize now how stupid that was. Trying to build the muscle after is no fun. I will say, 129 @ 8.3%...I was f'n shredded. I looked unhealthy with my clothes on, without my shirt was a different story. To be fair, I was never a big guy to begin with. I was always super skinny until age, life, children, a couple of divorces and terrible eating habits.

This is the exact reason I want to be around the 150-155 mark. I've been skinny and fat, and have friends in all various types of builds. Those that are my age that have been lifting for years, complain about carrying the mass now. I have no desire to be big, I want to be lean and comfortable, yet still be able to watch women try not to look with my shirt off.

Appreciate that! My Free Run Commuter's are the same way. Had to find some really thin, dri-fit Steve Madden socks to wear with with those. They're really hugg-y as well. Not a bad attribute in a gym shoe though. I'm still waiting on my NMD's to get here before I pull the trigger on another pair.
