MHD tune gone wrong
I have a 2020 BMW 540i RWD.
Today I had my downpipes installed and began tried tuning my car for the first time. Before today my car had no tune and no modifications. I tried flashing my car to stage 2 with mhd but didn't realize my ecu or dme whatever it is was locked. So my flash ended up failing and I was left with a drivetrain malfunction. I tried flashing it back to stock but again the flash failed, the error on mhd told me I needed to bench unlock my car. Now I'm stuck, my car won't start and it shows a drive train malfunction. Kies Motorsports can also bench unlock, there’s a few companies that can do remote

Lesson learned there. Use the unlock check in MHD, before starting any tuning. Good you could get it recovered pretty easily, you can try the MHD unlock tool to see if that will work with your DME
