Hi all

just wanted some assistance as i have been at it all day an fed up

all i want to do is disable the seat belt chime in my g30 and any other handy things, and when i did f80 it seems more simplier

i have e-sys setup i have seen some tutorial about cheat codes

i have been redirected all over the place, i would be greatful for a helping hand and a push in the right direction.

i have found xml files but they appear to be for fseries

i feel like i'm hitting brick wall

If you have BimmerCode, these changes are all very easy to do in the simple mode. It also has expert mode but you shouldn't need that for most of what you seem to want. You would need to also get an adapter for your phone or tablet if you already have the enet cable. I know, another $30 or so (or whatever they charge in GBP) for the app and a little more for the ethernet to phone adapter (I have Anker ethernet to USB-c works for my iPad and laptop). The coding changes are much faster through enet cable than the bluetooth dongle. I have BimmerUtility to do the more complex coding but I'm very new to it so can't recommend how to do it.
