255/30 and 295/25 will work for sure, but what about rears with 305/25 as for me it will be better for 10.5 and fronts with 255/30
Yeah 305 will work. Minimum wheel width would be 10.5" for a 305.

However, there's more of an issue with the diameter or height of the tires you mention. They're shorter than the OEM tires. Depending which manufacturer you go with, they will be ~ 7" - 11" shorter than OEM tires which will give you more gap between the top of your tire and your fender.

You're better off going with tire sizes that are closer to OEM factory specs, IMO. You typically want to get as close as possible. It'll look better and won't give you as many side effects (speedometer being off, worry about them not fitting or rubbing, etc).

EDIT: I don't want to hijack the OPs thread so go out and see what tires you currently have and size then make a new thread with that information and people can help you out.

Does anyone know if a 19x9.5 wheel would fit the the front of a 2020 M550ix without rubbing and if so, what offset I should look for?

It fits with 28 offset, but you need to lower the car for it to not stick out past fender.

Thanks Jackson. Will the tire rub if the car is not lowered?

Would 295 fit on et35 20x10.5 in the rear?

I've been researching this as well to my understanding a 9.5" with at 25mm offset up front will be aggressive and pretty much flush with the right tire size I'm looking at 255/40, 265/35 may work as well, I've been looking at a set of Gramlights and this width and offset is shown as a tuner fit on G30 which seems to indicate aggressive. There is another member who has posted pics and is actually running this exact spec with stock 245/40 and it looks hella flush but a bit stretched tire wise.

Looks good! It will look great when lowered! My offset is et38 as I was making room for 295 tire.
Which rims are these?

If we do math... example:

Stock 19” Rear is 9”Rim w +44mm. So overall stack = (9/2 x 25.4) +44 = 158.3

I am looking at a 20” Rear 10” w +40 which based on formula = 167mm

That would put the rear wheel lip .355” out from stock wheel. Yes?

Same logic in front
R19 x 8 w +30 = 131.6mm

Option
R20 x 9 w +38 = 152 mm

Difference +.815”

Am I doing this right???

Aggressive wheel fitment for M550

No, rears will be 17mm more out, and the fronts 5mm more out.
You calculated the inside difference.

So the offset is inside measure... thanks.

Can we put 295/30 on rear with 10” wheel above? I assume I can as the 295 is 11.8 width and stock wheels at 9” with 275 are 10.6” actual.

I've 285's on a 10" rim right now. I would say 295 is totally fine.
