Yup.

Same problem with the E60, and F10 too. It really depends on where you have the passenger seat positioned but it's annoying when it happens. I wish BMW added something soft in that spot on the B-pillar to reduce the noise.

Yes, I get the same - very irritating. I always forget after someone gets out and then have to lean over to reposition it which I can only just reach. Once repositioned it is OK.

Couldn't agree more. Every time a passenger get out of the car, it starts to rattle. I then have to lean over and wrap it over the edge of the passenger seat. Not ideal.

I get that too at times. My last audi had the same material as the headliner go down the B pillars - and never got a mark or a sound from the buckle.

Same here - first world problems in a relatively quit car. At least the rattle is user solvable with one move.

If the belt is the right way round, its fine, but the problem is that when the belt retracts, it seldom goes back the way we'd like

I have alcantara headlining and if this was on the lower hal of the b pillar, it might have solved this issue potentially but we have to contend with plastic.

Simple fix is to put a small strip of felt on the other end of the seat belt or on the plastic trim where the seat belt is hitting.

It'll fix all type of rattles and squeaks.
