While it might just be me, I'm having a hard time understanding your original post and what you're asking for.

I will try again

The photo show some options in the car,

The colision warning, need to know if this option is the fcw ( front colision warning ), because the guy who code my car say that i dont have the fsc in kafas...the colision warning is diferent from front colision warning?

Also for the
Ldw and lcw is necessary more than coding and fsc? Or just code?

Sorry my english and hope is betther now...

Thx in advance

Collision Warning might be the FCW but mine says Front Collision Warning.
Move the highlights down and read descriptions on the right side. These pics are from a US version but look similar.

Nice SiriusXM channel.
It's the best (real music) and I can even stream it to my Sonos in the house.

I donīt understand the original post that well; but Iīm curious to know, if Lane Change Warning and Lane Departure Warning can be added/coded to any G30? (B050445)

My car has the two KAFAS cameras and the Pedestrian-thing, but thatīs about it.

Don't forget that the steering wheel vibrates when you change lanes. Not sure how you can retrofit that. Not sure what other sensors may be missing when you don't have the package.

Previous generation had option code 8TH, so it made coding easy. G30 does not so it is more work to FDL correct parameters.

FCW requires FSC code.

LDW requires no FSC code. It does use vibration hardware in steering wheel.

Blind spot warning does not need FSC. It does need different mirrors with cameras and symbol.

The "vibration generator" (as BMW calls it) can be bought seperately for around $120. So if thatīs installed, is the rest then just coding to get LCW/LDW?

Okay, so LCW is what other brands call "Blind Spot Monitoring"? No, I donīt have those sensors. I was thinking of Lane Assist (whatever this is called in the BMW world, Iīm unsure off) where the car maintains the lane youīre driving in using the KAFAS cameras. Can that be coded? I do have the KAFAS cameras (Pedestrian Protection).

Hi,

Reviving old post again. So has this been concluded that LCW and LDW do not require FSC codes but only the hardware ( Correct mirrors with blind spot Assist + Radar senors for all 4 corners ) and coding ?
