Every time I get the 37 degrees chime I think my coolant is low again lol.

Any way to turn off with Bimmercode or otherwise?

It is not possible to disable it while driving. You can code out the initial cold weather chime on startup though.

The ice warning that sounds off when the ambient temps hit 37° doesn't bother me. But it could be from hearing it over the decades...I can tell its higher pitch/tone from the warning from the check control system...which has a slightly lower pitch/tone.

Plus I appreciate the warning and makes me consider the dark wet patches on the road as possible black ice instead of a puddle of water.

Since both of our cars have it, I've gotten used to the warning too. I just treat it like a heads up.

I’m with you. It’s a BMW staple, kind of like the old notes or memo function where it would beep three times at the top of the hour.
