Unfortunately I was rear ended pretty bad the [IMG][/IMG]other night , completely the 19 y/o drivers fault. I wanted to see if,You guys had any advice on if it’s totaled, repairable. This car is REALLY special to me as in its own way helped my life. She was going around 40-50mph and also hit someone else before me. I love this car and the brand of BMW, now even more since I think the structural engineering saved my life or at least more serious injuries. #Bmwusa #Bmw

My advice to you is talk to your insurance. Internet people would never be able to get the full, independent picture of the car's situation and we can only guess what's gonna happen.

I can let you know what *can* happen though. If the cost to repair this is more than the value of your car, insurance is gonna total it. At that point, should you accept, they'll own the car and pay you out. You can buy it back to have it repaired, but it will be with a salvage title.

It getting totalled can be negotiated, but you'll have to talk to insurance (theirs or yours). If you have great insurance, I would go talk to your own and let them recoup the money from the other. It's less hassle for you.
