Question How long will you keep your car?

How long do you see yourself keeping your current car?
Does the end of the new car warranty play into your decision?

I had my Integra for 10+ years. For some reason, I don't see myself keeping my 335 for nearly half that long.

When i get it, I'll keep it for 3 years. Then get another.

This is my 5th bimmer...

Never keep these things past warranty...they get real expensive to fix...

I usually keep them for 2 years...

Until warranty runs out or until C63 AMG stops calling my name?

just get rid of it before the warranty runs out.

I'll probably ask the same question.
any advantage of buying the extended warranty earlier?

Warranty is 4 yr/50K mi, right? I should be right around 4 years when I hit 50K miles. At that point, I'll have to make a decision. I'd hate to get rid of it, because I think my wife will pressure me into getting a larger car, and probably one with an AT. On the other hand, I don't want to have to pay $1000 for every little repair or service.

6yr / 100,000 miles. I got it earlier this year prior to them bumpinb the price up. The brake replacement (pads/rotors) that will come up in the 65K range will pay for it (roughly $3000; I paid roughly $1500).

So are you getting an ///AMG or GTR? Make up your mind !!

I ususally keep my car until the warranty goes out but it doesn't matter as much since I know a BMW tech save me some dollars on repairs...

Darn Squid! The brake job is that expensive? What do they have on the rotor? 18K plated gold?? lol.... I can get a set of rotors for $800 and brake pads for $300 at Tirerack. I am pretty sure the install doesn't cost $1900 at any decent shops... I guess you know someones at the stealers too huh?
