I took delivery of my first BMW, a 2021 M550i, on 8/31. After four Audi A6s and two S6s, I'm loving the improved handling, power, tech and sophistication of my M550. Audis are fantastic cars, but this BMW is, so far, the most impressive car that I have ever owned.

Here is a photo of my new ride. The color is bluestone metallic. I had a 30% ceramic tint installed on the side windows and rear windscreen. I applied two coats of graphene coating which really makes it shine and easier to keep clean.

The graphene coating definitely increased the gloss on an already glossy paint finish. It looks good in any light.

How is the ride? I believe the m sport passive suspension with 19" non run flat tyres is the way to go. The adaptive suspension makes the car seat too high from my point of view and it seems it can not compensate the lack of comfort originated from the 20" RFT.

I think the ride is great. No complaints. But, I am biased as this is my 4th 5 series with 19" RFTs. Only difference with this one vs. my 2017 540 M Sport is the M Sport Brakes on this one which have a very noticeable difference — in a good way.

Exactly. Black in some lights ... blue in others. Getting lots of compliments on it. And it looks better on my 2021 than it did on my 2014.

The color is absolutely stunning!
I placed my order for a similarly built 540i xdrive (Ivory White interior though). I will be taking delivery in February.

My 19 M540i is up in OCT. I really HATE they removed the fog lights from MSport bumpers...

im torn between getting a M340i or another 540MSport. I'm curious what the lease payment will be in OCT for these LCI's
