Do you notice that decent manuals for car repair are created mostly by usual drivers? They're people just like you and me, without special education. On the other forums, I saw topics where people opened free access to the guides they created. I wonder what BMW engineers are doing at this time... Okay, I'm smart enough to figure out how to drive a car, lol. But what about the features of the repair? Each car, like a girl, requires a special approach. if you can find a copy if ista. that is everything you would ever need for your bmw cars. isa is scanning programming and all the maintance and repair manuals your gonna need. but youll need a computer and a head to connect to your car. pricy but worth every penny.

Years ago I got the cable off ot ebay for like 40 but.
I'll be picking up an 18 530e this Friday, I'll have to brush up on the Ista and that other program stuff again.
It was neat coding stuff on my 335i convertible and clearing old codes.
