Wireless charging not working

Hey folks,
Anyone run into this before? I came back from traveling last week and the wireless charging tray is no longer working. LED doesn't illuminate when I place mine or my wife's phone to charge. Previously worked just fine.

Wondering if anyone is aware of what fuse that tray is tied to?

Appreciate any assistance.

Surely it's better to take to the dealer as it's still under warranty?

I don't know what parameters does LED attain to and in my experience LED doesn't always illuminate when I place my display key at all. It sometimes illuminates blue sometimes red as well.
My phones doesn't support wireless charging and my message might not be from heat to toe useful but I thought I still have to share this as it's related to wireless charing

If the light doesn't turn blue when the key is placed in the tray, then it's not charging. Happened to me few times. You almost need the key to be right in the middle of tray where it's marked. Not that easy to as the key slides depending on how you drive. Doesn't affect iPhone as it's a much larger device.

Good to know it's sorted out but strange to hear it needed a replacement

Agreed, so strange that it went out. Hopefully it will be good going forward now.

of all things I would expect that's the least likely to fail...

Well my dealer had to order the part because they didn't stock it. Took 1 day to have it overnighted from Chicago (to Denver) and they were done pretty quick.

Makes sense that the iphone x would have problems if the tray is defective. But Apple didn't start including QI based wireless charging until the iphone 8 and x. So iphone 6 and 7 didn't have it.

If you by chance bought one of those retrofit wireless charger inserts that plugs into the lightning port, that is what broke the charging pad. I had that on my work iphone 7 and it broke it twice. Needless to say I have not used that again.

My phone doesn't fit.... Sigh. Might as well not work for me. Glad you got yours fixed.

Mine keeps on showing orange light. Went to the dealer couple of trips and they said its working fine and just having issues with placement and overheating. Dafuq! I’m tired going back and fourth to tell them that is overheating because there is something wrong that needs replacement.
