I aleady contact Aabid he mentioned he'll get a hold of them in a few days

just a thought

Aabid did mention that he had someone at the dealership who was interested in doing something similar to what passport did for us last time around...

There is the Ferrari/Lambo/Maserati dealership around the corner, Wegmans (Great place for food) and plenty of parking.

Im sure Sterling would be a great place to meet...

You've taken my quote out of context Donny! That quote was pre-Wolftrap that was completed and proven successfull due to the combined efforts and consensus of all that made it possible.

anyway. back to you last comment

I dunno Donny! I hate to waste politcal Capital from our ECE/M3 forum Frens for such. I dunno if they will be enthusiastic. If you get some showing for Spring, you will used up their attendance for the Fall. And Fall M3 nos. will suffer. The other Forums are big into Performance Cars and not into cosmetic cars is my guess.

The objective is making it Bigger! by saving the political favors from those new forum frens we have made. The thinking is you can never have the M3 in the Spring but you can always have an e93 in the Fall alongside the M3 and have a bigger turnout for both, but not the other. "Coz You can only give them some many bags and do the same run. and it gets dull.

I dunno, maybe wrong, but its wasteful to have a same no. attendance for Spring but should shoot for a larger crowd for Fall/M3 release. I think we should work on a Silver Dollar than 2 Fifty Cents Piece (lets work on 100s)

Maybe we can have Poldim and AJ Help Bring the nos. for they have quite a bit of frens too David and his frens did an incredible job!

my .02 cents -

Yeah! Bike to work is Great! most Claringdon Folks bike to work, I envy them
seeing their gracefull climbs on the Curtiss Trail I66 paths on a nice spring/summer/fall days. (I can only dream and work on becoming that good-lolz)

WABA sponsors a Bike to Work Day every summer, maybe thats a way to get started for you, plus you got the Crescent Trails, so its EZ for you to bike in.

I took that path last Tuesday to Bethesday from Mt Vernon, it was a gorgeous Fall Day to take some time off and feel the Autumn air

Ive never riden in Poolsville, but have used the W&OD trail to Leesburg/Hamilton. I bet thats quite a hike! gorgeous country out there... makes someone a better climber I think! I only do that part of town once every yr. My base is Mt Vernon/Georgetown (Rosslyn/Bethesda or Glebe 4 mile run)I tire mid-way, but manage to always come home in one pcs.

Lets do a short one sometime, your call

Sounds good. I've ridden to Mt. Vernon many times (I used to live in Virginia), as well as four mile run west to vienna. Let's see if we get another good weekend and we can set up a ride.

Thats Great Rich!

..also FYI heres a local Cycling Meetup group in the area that seems to have an activity every week. Gregg the organizer have alway manage to get his members informed and involve. I still have to make one for their meetup for it most of the time they start at the north end of town, w/c is your end. Maybe once we sync up, we can tag along.

I wasn't aware of the Meetup group, although I've cycled with Potomac Peddlers off and on. I missed this message, because I forgot to subscribe to this thread. I'll PM you with my phone no so we can cycle when we get another decent day.

You were lucky to see that results,
the last I seen we were pulling ahead by a wide margin
.. unfortunately it was in the wrong direction

... it must have been caused by GW campaigning for us

Honestly, I believe Jason Pull it out for it had too many in-fight like a normal election. And as KL2DC had said, Washingtonians dont take Politics lightly

But I agree with it being pulled, for there are things left better unsaid

(e90post female of year was also pulled btw)

the winner of the best thread poll proves that 99% of the people on here are men.

Hurray for Shim!

The best meet poll did get a bit rediculous. DC people just posted pics and info on our meet which seems perfectly sensible to give voters info and others had to put us down for it instead of just trying to show what made their meet better. It did turn out just like a real election!

DC Metro should have our own DC only mini awards! WE don't take things to serously and would have much more fun with it.
