Our last BMW was a 2015, this one is a 2022 and the wife got a Happy Thanksgiving commercial on the iDrive screen this AM.

I'm sure others will or have gotten this?

Yeah, the only way to post video's is to upload to your YouTube account and post a link. It's the only reason I have a YT account, to post BMW videos.

Yeah this is an iDrive 7 feature. They do a few a year. New Year’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and probably one more I am forgetting.

Let me opine. You have to be shitting me? How old are you? The world is constantly improving? Maybe in your cyber/meta universe.

I've never experienced such division in my lifetime. People lack civility plain and simple. I encounter rude, instant gratification, me first, crybabies on a daily basis. Never grew up in my day with so many snowflakes snapping and committing mass murder. They sit in mommy's basement shooting people online for 12 hours a day since they were 5....and people are shocked by the outcome? Go ahead, blame guns...bullshit. Nope, this shit didn't happen when I was a kid....and guess what? We had guns.

Cell phones strapped to your ass 24/7, that's living. We have a whole generation that doesn't know how to communicate outside texting. Privacy out the window...gone. Fantastic A+ big improvement. "Working" from home developing all kinds of social psychosis, another great improvement. 1000's of different genders...I guess a thousand is better than two.

The healthcare system sucks (my wheelhouse, I'm qualified to say so), wait 3-6 months for appointments? It used to be 1 week. The new generation of doctors and most youth can't trouble shoot for shit....because there's not an app for it. I sit with a doctor and they get on the internet to do searches...yeah, that's Yale baby...it's not the first time.

Nothing is done right the first time anymore...10 follow up phone calls to talk to someone in India who claims their name is Joe (I fell better because it sounds American) and is on multiple call centers for multiple companies that isn't a subject matter expert on anything. Again, I don't know what world you're living in.

Watching Amazon/Home Depot close all kinds of mom and pop shops around me...great improvement. As a major shareholder in Amazon, I'm concerned. They screwed up more orders and lost more parcels than I can count. Bogus vendors screwing their customers daily. They are falling apart. I can't be the outlier, this must be happing across the board. Can never get a live person....go through a labyrinth of endless bullshit loop of questions on their website. Whew, I'm exhausted from all this improvement.

You and I have totally different views of what improvement means. I'm not holding back anyone, just stating my personal experience. I'm glad I was born when I was. Bring back the 80's...woman didn't have fake tits, life was at a slower pace, people weren't killing each other at the rate they are today. People respected each other more. I know...I just don't understand...I'm just an old ignorant crotchety retired multimillionaire.
