Living in Denmark I don't see the grill shutters open very often. After a short trip this evening, the grill shutters is now permanent open and apparently wont close.

I'm quite sure I've seen this problem before at Bimmerpost but after browsing 270 threads I haven't been able to find it.

Any fix for this problem?

Try driving around for a while and see if the shutters close when turning off the engine. If not, you should contact your dealer

I did that already so I think they are faulty. I've send my dealer at request for a solution, probably a jammed actuator as someone experienced before.

It's a common issue. My car is at the dealer now for active grill replacement after I noticed they weren't closing. They even have an extended 10 year 120,000 mile warranty for that part alone here in the US.

Yes. I had a CEL on it and my dealership fixed it under warranty.

I have no CEL however but it tends not always be the case as far as I can read in the old thread.
