Dinan Middle Exhaust and/or Freeflow Exhaust
I have seen videos with both installed, but anyone happy with the X pipe mid exhaust only? What does the back exhaust add to the sound? Not looking to scare people as I go by, but want to add to the stock (valves open) sound. How much is the valves closed sound effected with the X pipe replacement?

I’ve heard the Dinan X pipe (res delete) with the rest stock sounds awesome. But I have not heard it for myself yet. I have the exhaust just waiting on a lift to install.

Found this on YouTube, it is much louder than with resonators as I expected. I have done the same setup but not from dinan since dinan is quite expensive for what it is. I preferred the straight piped resonator delete over the x-pipe resonator delete because of the more unbalanced and brutal sound when you let it rip. The x-pipe, although decently louder than resonators, did not give enough of a raw v8 sound to me. All options are tame when driving gently with flaps closed. |
