530e not holding the charge

We got our 2019 530e a week ago. We fully charged at the charging station. Drove about 2 miles in comfort and 20% of the battery was gone. The next morning battery was down by another 20% (just sitting on the driveway). It averages 22mpg even in eco. Is that it? Am I doing something wrong? How do I get the battery to last or recharge. Are there any settings to play with?

I can't comment on the eco mode (I have never used it) but your experience doesnt seem right unless you are in some extreme weather area where the temperature is so cold that the battery is being rapidly depleted.

I drive in warm to hot Phoenix area and I get anywhere from the listed miles (on the battery gauge) to about 25% less (extremely hot weather).

If you are not in extreme weather, and you are not tracking it, then you have a problem Houston and need to go to the dealer.

Garage List
Something seems wrong if it goes down by 20% just sitting in the garage.

Back to the dealer I would suggest. Perhaps a faulty battery or something causing a drain on it.

Agreed. The battery can certainly deplete quickly when driving (my range can drop from 24 kms to 21 kms shortly after I pull out of my driveway) and the maximum range I have ever seen displayed is 25 kms (much lower in the winter). Even though the range starts at 24 kms the displayed range is typically 5 kms or less when I get to work ( a commute of 11 kms) and in the winter I never make it 11 kms on battery alone. Much depends on traffic, temperature, driving mode. I read somewhere on this forum that the best way to maximize electric range is to drive in eco pro mode and on Max edrive. That seems to work the best for me but my commute is generally in heavy stop and go traffic where I don't mind the reduced performance.

Is it possible that your car has been set to pre-condition itself (e.g. cool down) and this is the reason the battery is draining while sitting?

It doesn't seem normal if it's down by 20% just sitting in the driveway. I remember once mine was down by a bit when not plugged in. The max range also depends on how you drive. Recently I managed to drive gentle and ended up with avg 26-27 km with AC on per full charge. In winter, the battery was not even activated as the temperature was so low. I giess 530e would be more effective in cities where weather is nice.
