What did you do to your G30 today?

Today I cleaned and conditioned the leather seats with chemical guys cleaner and leather conditioner.

I used to do this 3 to 4 times a year on my E90. Plan on doing the same with the G30.

I also have it a quick bath since it rained a few days ago.

Gotta get the hood and bumper touched up before I get the clear paint protection put on.

Today I drove it and enjoyed it. Because yesterday I spent 3 hours washing it and detailing the interior.

Is that black sapphire or Grapphite Grey Mettalic?

Dark graphite metallic with beige Dakota interior. The two colors go great together. And I just added the ceramic tint.

I washed and then applied a coat of Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint sealer and Pinnacle Leather Conditioner.

I start early in the morning and by the time I was complete, it got a bit hot outside. Then it looked like rain was approaching so back in the garage it went. Timing was perfect.

Here in South Florida, we do have 4 seasons and they are Warm, Hot, Very Hot, and Too Darn Hot. We are approaching the "Hot" season now.

I moved from NY to Florida in 2003 and it took about 2 years to adopt to the weather. Once my body adjusted, it was all good. I do my own landscaping all year and spend much time outside on activities for my house or fun stuff as well.

Love it, we have one of these standing threads on the E39 forum at Bimmerfest.

So today (which was actually yesterday), I took my M550 out of the garage for the first time in over three months. I did about 120 miles and drove it hard. When you haven't driven an M550 in that long, the raw power just all seems new again. Same thing for Bowers and Wilkins, I forgot how good and powerful it sounds.

Even though the roads here in the Northeast are dry and patched and look sand-free, I had plenty of sand on the car. Like a dusting. So when I got home, I took the hose and sprayed it down, then filled a 5 gallon bucket with Adams Car Shampoo and hot water and went over it with my micro-fiber mitt. Sonax on the wheels and rinse. Then a complete dry with Korean micro fiber. I'll throw a coat of G-Technic C2V3 on it this week. If you haven't guessed, I am an OCD detailing freak.

Same here. I can't stand a dirty car.

Thinking about getting mines paint corrected, ceramic coated and getting a paint protection film put on

Flashed xHP Stage 2 to allow the ZF8 to better coexist with BM3. Would highly recommend anyone with a DME tune (or even piggyback) also get their transmission squared away.
