Detailer Recommendations in Seattle Area?
I attempted a headlight restoration using a 3M kit today and I'm less than thrilled with the results. I was planning on using the kit and then installing a Venture Shield clear bra on the headlights after, but the headlights turned out cloudy in spite of hours of meticulous work. I want to see if a local guy can clean up my f-up before I put the clear bra on.

Yeah,
Those kits suck. I do my own detail but if you have a rotary or orbital buffer it's easy to restore. A drill attachment won't do it as the 3m kit instructs. 4000 grit wet sand with meguire 105 compound and many pass step down polish to mezerna FP (final polish). I use a flex. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Thanks for the tips. 99% of the time I DIY, which is how I ended up in this mess. The problem was the whole front end was taken apart and I needed my car for work. So I took the headlights out and dropped them off at a detailer today (and stole my fiance's car). They did a great job restoring them and installed my clear bra.

Maybe I'll see you at a local meet.
