Yeh I think this was in the 3 series forum

If there are EVs on it , with their lithium batteries that's going to be a bit of a headache as regards extinguishing

nope, theirs BMW's on it. local news here did an article i pasted into the thread "cargo ship on fire".

local guys BMW he ordered is on it..

I assume the BMWs that are on there are the ones with the "flame surface" design?
If not , I guess they are now

The ship departed Germany February 10th and was scheduled to arrive in Rhode Island this week. It's been reported that roughly 4000 luxury cars, including Bentley's, Porsches and Audis, were on board.

Where they mention "BMW" is when the guy is at the dealership (Nimey's), and mentions if his car (Audi) wasn't on a ship right now, he would be picking this one up.

I can see where the confusion is though, that link really isn't an article, reads more like a bunch of excerpts.
