White oxide on the wheels after washing the car ...

Hello all.
.

Today i went to clean my BMW M3 to the car wash. Nothing unusual ...

However - after a couple of minutes something strange happened ... the wheels started to become in some areas white ... something like an oxide or i don't know. The thing is that is somehow on top of the wheel ... but it does' not clean - you need to really scratch to clean it --- but then i risk to scratch the entire wheels

I tried already with sonax xtreme wheel cleaner - but it does't clean

any solution ? happened to anyone else ? help

Many thanks

What sort of wheel cleaner did you use?

You may need to use a mildly abrasive polish to remove that.

I'd try car wash shampoo and a mitt before using a polish.

If it's a satin black finish, a polish is going to change the appearance of the finish.
