I don't know who this "Jason Todd" is, but is he in FL too? There is an 80% chance that he is cooler than me, so I may pretend to be him in the future. If that happens, please disregard this post.

Judging by the words on the package, I now understand... That is not in English and definitely not from America... I'm sorry Phil, but you have been lied to again... The Internet is not your friend lately...

Second DIGITAL watch? You have analog ones as well? Come on over to the Watches subforum and share them. I like watches even more than cars (sadly).

Actual photo taken by me... it closed shortly thereafter... wonder why?
This was a place in Toronto close to the corner of Yonge and Bloor? Perhaps some of our Canadian friends have partaken in the Spotted Dick?

There's another guy here in OT that's another watch snob, so that makes three of us

Mostly automatic chronographs. I've posted there before, but don't really take the time to take really good pics like some of the guys there.

This and a Daytona are the only one I've taken the time to shoot. LumTec B8 #8 of 50. Meh-ish Miyota OS20 movement, but it's a lot of watch...PVD, sapphire, ARD, titanium, and tons of compliments.

ETA: That's a 3 digit Springfield Pro that's approaching 12K ish rounds...

MMMMMMMM.....I like. I have a bunch of quartzes from the depth of the 80s/90s quartz crisis, but a few nice mechanicals. To keep this reasonably on topic (even for OT), I will post the last mechanical watch I purchased (even though it was last year)... The VC Traditionelle Small Seconds in Platinum (82172-000P). Nice manual wind. As the astute will observe, the movement photo is not from my watch (it is from a white gold version), but this is a much better shot of the 4400 caliber than I have gotten.

That is a lot of watch for the money. Thanks for posting.

When that Sunnto stops working, replace it with a Garmin Fenix 3.

I would say I got a boner, but that would be crude I've got a VC Patrimony in white gold...simple and clean, but not really my style and I have no idea why I bought it.

Our local VC shop...not an AD...had this one; Traditionnelle Grand Complication press piece that was there for about a week. Unfortunately, I was typhoid Alex and hacking out a lung (not to mention a few other personal issues going on as well) and could not go down to see it. It would have been nice to handle a piece that costs more than twice the price of the M6, but the likelihood of buying that is probably never.

Which White Gold? This one by chance? This is one of mine too (which is why the SN has been shopped out). I was just in Geneva for SIHH and saw TONS of watches that I will never own. Saw that very piece from the Magazine - along with the $8 Million bespoke 57260 - insane. SOOOO much stuff.

No...I want to say a 33060?? It's an older watch I picked up from a friend a few years back.

You saw the GC??

Sorry, I don't recognize GC as abbreviation? The VC was called Tivoli, until it was delivered, then 57260 (57 complications, 260th anniversary of the company)

Yeah, I saw tons of stuff. Lange had some awesome stuff. I saw the new Overseas from VC that were just released and hitting the streets in June/July. They are awesome. I will need to convince the wife on one of those! There is a new Patrimony Perpetual CEP that is crazy (and crazy expensive). They also had Independents there Voutillainen, HYT, Urwerk, MB&F, Gruebel Forsey, so many...

Edit: Also, yeah, the 33060 is a classic VC. Beautiful, ultra-thin, and it has the classic, highly desired 1003 movement. GREAT piece. (Small, because it is older, but a great piece and part of an iconic line.

Grand complication. So I found my go to SME on watches if I ever launch into another VC South Coast Plaza in Orange County has IWC, Jaeger, Rolex, VC, and Omega all within 50 yards of each other.

Neighbor picked up a Jaeger chrono that's also pretty nice.

Yeah man. Happy to be your SME on VC. I know that brand pretty well, and I know people who know it WAY better if I don't know. I visited South Coast Plaza many years ago - like... late 90s many years ago. Here in FL, we have the Design District in Miami - all those and Lange, Panerai. Some sweet stuff. Jaeger makes awesome stuff and their complications are more "affordable" - as much as one could call these things affordable at all. In fact, there is a SWEET Jaeger chromo someone has for sale in the watches sub forum right now. I think my next is the VC overseas chrono, when it hits the streets. You should check it out.
