As of today, I'm no longer week 13 production ... I've been moved to week 14 ... so not terrible and as of today's status update, there are no deletions from my build sheet so thankful for that as well!

Just spoke to bmw genius, got pushed to week 19
Was originally scheduled for week 13 According to what cabo wrote, looks like 530s were not pushed to far forward. But the m550s are push quite forward |

I went from 105 to 111 today, so I guess that's good. But no build date yet. If I get pushed back too far, I'm concerned that I might be getting a 2023...

might depend on options. My G30 is a custom order for my mom, so lightly optioned compared to my personal builds.
G30 540ix with Luxury Seating, AS ROF tires, Nappa Leather, Premium Package, Sensatec Dash, Heated Steering Wheel ... nothing crazy, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it |

How are you guys finding your scheduled production date? I got my production number a few weeks back and on my bmw site it’s been held at scheduled for production ever since with no more details.

The dealership build sheet can also reflect the same info. Your CA at the dealership can do an inquiry on ASAP portal against the production number and gather the same data as the BMW toll free customer service. I prefer continually annoying the people at the 800 # instead of the local dealership |

545E Ordered Nov. 4th 2021, was told delivery late june/ early July when an official order (AG) was given.
Checked with genius last week, and given a build start date of May 9th. No idea if that is the same as original, or how long they take to build / deliver to UK. All options are still showing as being available, so fingers crossed. I am hopeful of mid/late June. |

Ordered 540i
Hi
I ordered my 540i (almost fully loaded) back in late January / early Feb. I got a production number on Feb 4. After speaking to the Genius line, (I call every week or so). My car went from week 10 to week 12 and is now at week 16. So (in theory), my car should begin to get built next week. I had a 5 series back in late 2000's and switched to Audi A6 in 2012. Now that I ordered my car, I can't wait to get it (must try to stay patient). Are the delays typical? or does what get ordered for the car impact the start of production? thank you, Luis |

no delays are typical ... this is all covid supply chain shortages/issues compounded by Ukraine war issue as BMW's wire harness supplier is in Ukraine
current times are anything but typical. Last 5er (F10) was 8 weeks from order to sitting in my driveway in NJ - loaded 550ix with every option |
