Cleaned my baby just thought I'd share.

Sometimes you just feel like posting a pic of your baby. Although she doesn't have a lot of makeup on (exterior mods) I think she looks great! In that sense here she is:

I dipped them. I removed the top portion and dipped it because I didn't want to see chrome when I opened the doors. As for the bottom I dipped that while on the car because its a pain in the ass to remove those without braking them. The top however is super easy to remove regardless of what some will tell you. I ended up spraying the tops again when I did the bottoms just for kicks as well since everything was taped off again. Oh and thanks man!

It will take:

x2 cans @ $5 Ea from Lowes or Homedepot
x2 rolls of painters tape @ $3 Ea
x1 3m Spray nozzle sprayer thingy

and about 1.5-2 hours if you take your time and do it right.

did you use any special tools to remove the upper trim? or just pop them out? i have all the supplies laying around but i never thought of doing the e90 because of how wide the trim is for the rear doors. id hate opening that door and seeing a chrome inner jam if that makes sense.

Nope just pops right out. If you look at your e9x top trim youll notice a gap, just stick your fingers in there (that's what she said) and pop it out. Do it slowly (that's what she said) and youll be fine. LOL

**Just make sure you let the tops dry completely before putting them back on and DO NOT close your doors for about 30 mins AFTER putting them on. In other words they have to be SUPER dry.

Mine came out literally perfect you cannot tell at all that they were dipped up close. they've also been through the touchless car wash like 100 times lol
