How big was the difference on the valves closed vs open with the valves closed?
I still have the Remus exhaust but it's 1000 miles from Boston and no way to ship it. You have to swap over the control for the valves from the OEM exhaust and it makes some difference open vs closed.

Here's a clip from Remus on how it sounds. Thought I had one of my own but can't find it...

That sounds so much louder than stock but a really nice tone to me.

Yeah I wouldn’t do a full muffler delete, especially on a B58. Even with my M550, I don’t think I’d want to delete more than the resonators I already cut out. Beyond that, I’d rather just wait to shell out for an actually system upgrade.

On my road trip, I had zero drone with res delete in sport mode at 90-100 mph. But if I was passing or accelerating, I got that nice burst of sound. As time has gone by, I feel more and more that the res delete was a really great value mod for someone not ready to spend more than a couple hundred on improving sound.

Can you use a M5 diffuser, or would that require the full M5 bumper?
