Hi,

I have an issue with my parking brake and have a yellow Parking light on the dash. (Parking brake Failure)
The electric handbook works fine but just when I press the brake hold button I have a message pop up on the i drive with Parking Brake Failure.

I have attached a report from BMW Specialist, has anyone come across this issue?

Have you found a solution for this error?
Same is here, I’ve replaced the parking switch but still there as been advised by a mechanic, replaced the fuse for parking as well and removed the -ve wire from battery nothing worked

My advice is have a specialist recode your DSC unit. The software can go crazy in these units and BMW will only change with new costing 1000s.

You can find remote coding specialists on this forum. All you need is a laptop and the cable. They do the rest remotely.

I agree and if you need bmw coding specialist PM me. I know of company that are amazing

No I was quoted just under 2k for the DSC UNIT replacement, but the car has since been sold.

Hey man, need your help ASAP please, my e brake is working but yellow light is on the cluster, dealer quoted me to replace it for 3k😡😡😡

I have exactly the same problem, has anyone solved it by recoding the DSC unit?
If so, can you tell me who can do it remotely?
