Nope. The only thing that signifies an individual paint job, would be a little badge under the hood, but we don't get it in the U.S.

Our x5 came with bmw individual illuminated door sills and we only did premium leather.

Yeh I thought door sills had individual on them .

we have merino leather and i just noticed there is a little tag that says "individual" on the seatback. door sills are standard.

My U.S. M550i painted an Individual color, Rhodonite Silver, has the badge under the hood.

For the LCI, Tanzanite, aventurin, and alvjte don't get the badge anymore. Where did you find it? Maybe I missed it.

That's where I thought it was, but I don't think Lci cars have it, sadly

Seems like the Lci model still have it under the bonnet for "standard" individual colors (Aventurine, Tanzanite, Alvit..)when looking at the pictures in this article.

If you have an individual manufaktur Color you definitely have it as seen in the photo from my car below.


The door sill as to my understanding comes when you choose some type of individual package with merino individual leather among other things with the X5 and X7 and maybe some more models.

If you like you can even order your car with personalised door sill in what ever typing you want for 4500 Euro.
