brake fluid service notification; how much to buy for '17 540ix
hey all, I see a 1 gallon jug on fcpeuro which I assume is plenty but it costs $53. the 12 oz containers are less than $5.
i don't mind paying for a 1 gallon, but don't want to be unnecessarily wasteful 2017 540ix, basic brakes |

As I understand it, any DOT 4 brake fluid works fine in a BMW. When I changed fluid on my 545d, a quart was plenty. Also, you might consider a Motive Power Bleeder if this is a DIY project.
